The launch of the game was linked to the final transmission of Jackanory on Friday, 8 December 2006 with the game delivered on Wednesday, 6 December to allow testing and implementation prior to launch. It has also been used as part of the CBBC Christmas celebrations.

Not Only But Also produced a simple multi platform game that brought the children’s designs to the forefront and ensured they felt they had played a part in creating a fun to play game with a wintry theme.
