Teachers TV commission updates to its interactive Behaviour Challenge

NotOnlyButAlso have begun a round of updates to the highly successful interactive Behaviour Challenge where users take part in interactive video scenarios to manage the behaviour of a difficult class. It uses realistic reconstructions to show how different strategies play out with three challenging pupils. The updates are functional, design and content related with filming being handled by the experts at Lambent Productions.

New updates to Turner Classic Movies website

NotOnlyButAlso have just released a series of updates to the Turner Classic Movies [TCM] website, our joint venture with Turner Broadcasting. Following on from the successful redesign and launch last year, new features this month include the integration of Brightcove's video system, a host of previously unseen classic film footage now available in a new Video section, a 'reminder' service for when your favourite movies are on TCM in 'What's On', and more News, Features articles plus TCM's round-up of the DVD releases that are out now.

TCM brings you an extensive collection of Hollywood movie greats as well as contemporary classics from all film genres and decades. TCM is essential viewing for all classic movie fans.

BBC - EastEnders E20: exclusive online drama from Albert Square

NotOnlyButAlso has been busy coding over Christmas helping the BBC get ready for their new EastEnders E20 online drama. Launching Friday 8th January 2010 as part of the BBC's drive to develop and nurture exciting new talent, EastEnders: E20 has been written by 13 new London writers aged between 17 and 22 who attended a summer school where they created and wrote the online drama.

**Update Feb 4th 2010 - E20 went down a storm - nearly 2m clip views in total so far!**

NotOnlyButAlso partners with Konami

NotOnlyButAlso has signed a games development agreement with Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.
The deal will see NotOnlyButAlso develop a version of its Burst the Bubble title and license it to Konami for coin-operated, skill with prizes (SWP) terminals across the UK. The agreement is seen as a first step toward developing and producing further SWP games and the potential for expansion into other regions.

NotOnlyButAlso co-founder Dan Grant described the deal as a “perfect match”. He added: “We are confident that this deal will result in a long standing relationship with a wealth of opportunities for all.”

Michael Goodburn, Product Planning Assistant at Konami is “thrilled to be working with NotOnlyButAlso”. On Burst the Bubble, Goodburn added that he believes the game is “fresh with an addictive game-play, filling an existing niche in the SWP market.”

NotOnlyButAlso has also today launched a version of Burst the Bubble for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch on the App Store.

You may have noticed on the TCMUK website homepage that a new menu has joined the bar alongside the features, news, listings, blog and competitions pages.

Well, NotOnlyButAlso have launched a powerful movie database, with a search engine designed to help TCM channel and movie fans discover just who starred in what, with whom, or in what year.

With the TCM movie database users can search for a film title, an actor, director or any other member of a film crew, or just use a keyword if they’re unsure exactly what or who they’re looking for.

On the TCM database users can also watch thousands of classic and modern movie clips and trailers, read synopses of movies, or discover the full cast and crew list. Plus, they can also discover loads more information including trivia and awards.

NotOnlyButAlso worked with Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, USA to integrate with their complex data systems to deliver this powerful addition to the existing TCM UK website.
